Catching the food...

First rays of the morning sun emerged from the RDC rainforest and almost immediately the air was full of all kind of voices and noices of various morning activities when all the birds and all the wild life were up to the breakfast.

The energetic Black-and-Red Broadbills wetre busy catching the early worm between their home-building activities.

...and the Red-bearded Bee-eater was literally "playing with the food" - a Wasp caught for the breakfast.

The Rufous Woodpecker was catching-up with the ants on the tree trunk...

...and the Diard's Trogon had just caught a frog when I arrived to the spot.

I definitely started getting hungry and thirsty now and decided to turn back to the Keruing Cafe at RDC!

Enjoy!
